For individual or family orders, placing your order at least 30–45 minutes ahead ensures your pizza is hot and fresh when you need it. Deep dish pizza takes slightly longer to bake than thin-crust — that's what makes it so good! For large group orders (10+ people) or catering, we recommend ordering 24–48 hours in advance.

Pequod's pizza is famous for its iconic caramelized cheese crust. Unlike standard deep dish, we layer cheese all the way to the edge of the pan — as it bakes, the cheese against the cast-iron pan caramelizes into a crispy, golden ring that's completely unique. Our dough is hand-pressed, our sauce is chunky and fresh, and every pizza is built in reverse order (cheese first, toppings second, sauce on top) in true Chicago deep dish tradition.
Yes! We have a variety of vegetarian pizzas featuring fresh seasonal vegetables, roasted garlic, spinach, mushrooms, peppers, and artichoke.
